MEET THE PROVIDER

Greetings! I am Cecilia Yeboah, a masters prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I bring on board over 25 years of experience in the nursing field and worked through the ranks of CNA, RN, RN-BSN. During my practice, I developed a deep passion for mental health and sought to expand my scope of practice. 

I am endowed with extensive experience which spans from working in Ghana (Africa), England and the USA. I've practiced in different specialties over the years which has left rich expertise in providing empathic, compassionate and comprehensive care to the people I serve with cultural competency.

I earned my Bachelors of Science in Care of the Older Person at the University of West England, Bristol in 2008. I successfully completed my RN-BSN at Grand Canyon University Arizona and PMHNP at Maryville University St Louis, Missouri.

 My philosophy of practice is that everyone desires to be seen, heard and valued - it is the epitome of the human connection. With this in mind, the style of my practice is patient-centered. 

 I strive to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs which may include medication, therapy, and the utilization of genetic testing to help guide medication recommendations. Additionally, treatment plans emphasize the importance of lifestyle factors such as nutrition, exercise, and sleep.

I am currently accepting new patients. My specialties include but are not limited to, Depression, Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Psychoses, Addiction and Personality Disorders.

In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with family, friends and connecting with the community. I volunteer and offer mental health education to youth groups, couples, families and organizations. I am a person of faith, which also positively influences my values in practice leading to holistic approach service.
